Nice tire fits great.

Ran these on a Vstrom 650. Nearly useless in anything slick but performed well and held up decently on a mix of 90/10 pavement/gravel. Good value tire for the money.

I recently purchased an XSR700 to use as a daily commuter on the bumpy streets of San Francisco. With my 140 pounds on board, the bike handled horribly on bumps and sharp edges. It would pitch violently back and forth on bumps and I felt like I had to constantly watch the road to avoid giving the bike a jolt. The stock front tire would track into even the smallest groove or indentation in the pavement as well. The stock suspension is horrible on these bikes, but I had no idea how much the handling would be improved simply by switching the stock tires to the Shinko 705. The Shinko soaks up those hard edges so the inferior suspension doesn't need to work as hard. The Shinkos are taller and I believe the added rake/trail has helped to stabilize the bike so I'm not getting that rocking horse back and forth reaction anymore. If you plan to use your XSR on bumpy roads, do yourself a favor and throw on a set of Shinko 705s!

These are decent tires for a great price. Dirt performance is pretty good, much better than the stock KLR tires. They allow you to really relax and have fun on mountain roads. Paved performance is not as great, these feel very soft and have a tendency to flex in corners and slide when braking. To be fair, I may be running the pressure a little low. They are also somewhat loud on pavement as you would expect with a dirt tire. Overall, I do like them. I would call them a 70/30 dirt tire.

I really like these tires. On pavement they perform like street tires and are confidence inspiring. When really leaning into corners. They are quiet and had a decent lifespan. I got about 3,000 mi out of the rear and probably could have pushed it a little longer. On dirt they are decent, better than the factory KLR dunlops but definitely not a knobby. On fire roads I have little issue moving at speed and can play around on single track. I would rate these a 60/40 road tire.
